Friedrich Bausert, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766. He settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann on 16 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 89.
The 1767 census records that Friedrich Bausert came from the German village of Waltenheim in the Lothringen region.
