Discussion & Documentation:

Weil Becker, a farmer, and his wife Anna Margaretha settled in the Volga German colony of Balzer on 18 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 69 along with Maria Elisabeth Ulrich, his mother-in-law.

The 1767 census records that Weil Becker came from the German village of Strotzbüsch.

There are no known surviving male descendants of this Becker family among the Volga German colonies.
