Konrad Beckshorn, a joiner, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Andreas, age 16½; Gottfried, age 14; Michael, age 11; Lorenz, age 8; Georg, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

Two surviving children are recorded on the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 12 along with the Johann Ernst Wolter family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Beckshorn and Wolter families.

Some translations have errantly recorded this surname as Gonohorn.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Beckshorn came from the German region of Würzburg.
