Anton Büchner, a farmer, and his wife Anna Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Bauer on 20 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 22.

Johann Philipp Bigner, son of Johann Peter Bigner, relocated from Bauer to Biberstein in 1833 [per the 1834-45 Bauer Communion Register] 1834 [per the 1834 census of Bauer].

The 1767 census records that Anton Büchner came from the German village of Biebelsheim in the Kurpfalz.
