Christian Delym, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Huck on 17 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 74 along with the orphand children of Heinrich Horst.
The 1767 census does not record a realtionship between the Delym and Horst families.
The 1767 census records that Christian Delym came from the German region of Isenburg.
There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of the Delym family among the Volga German colonies.
