Hans Georg Dreher, a weaver (Weber), and his wife Franziska settled in the Volga German colony of Volmer on 18 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 6.
The 1767 census records that Hans Georg Dreher came from the German village of Ulm.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Dreher family among the Volga German colonies.
