Georg Günther, a farmer, and his wife Susanna settled in the Volga German colony of Reinwald on 14 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 7.
The 1798 census of Katharinenstadt records the children of Georg Günther from Reinwald in Households No. Ka120 & Ka126.
The 1767 census records that Georg Günther came from the German village of Liebenzell in the Württemberg region and that his wife Susanna came from the German village of Sulzbach in the Pfalz region.
