Discussion & Documentation:

There are two Hartmann families from Stahl am Karaman recorded on the 1798 census. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.

(1) The widow and daughters of Heinrich Hartmann are recorded on the 1798 census of Stahl am Karaman in Household No. Sk37.

There is a Heinrich Hartmann from Wiederode in the Hessen district of Rothenburg & Anna Margaretha Meÿer from Schwickershausen were married on 5 June 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen. This may be the same Heinrich Hartmann recorded in Stahl am Karaman.

(2) Jakob Hartmann from Stahl am Karaman and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Fischer in Household No. Fs32.
