Johann Adam Herdt, son of Leopold & Anna Margaretha Herdt, was baptized in Offenbach on 13 May 1745. He married 4 April 1766 in Büdingen to Maria Barbara Zipp, also from Offenbach.

They arrived in Moor on 18 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 61.

In 1788, Adam Herdt and his family moved from Moor to Pobochnaya.
