Hoffmann (Rohleder)
Johannes Hoffmann, son of Johannes Hoffmann, was born on 18 September 1744 in Heckendalheim.

Johannes (senior) and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Rohleder on 28 August 1767. Johannes, his wife Magdalena, and his daughter Elisabeth (age 15) are recorded on the 1767 census of Rohleder in Household No. 47.
In 1788, Christian Hoffmann and his family moved from Louis to Rohleder. In 1795, Johann Peter Hoffmann moved from Rohleder to Graf.
The 1767 census records that this Hoffmann family came from the German region of Blieskastel.
