Johannes Hogem?, a farmer, and his wife Elisabeth are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits that is attached to the 1767 census (No. 58).
A note on this list indicates that they settled in the Volga German colony of Zürich in 1768.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Hogem came from the German village of Wemelik? near Perlburg?.
