Karl Jensen, a hunter (Jäger), and his wife are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 41 along with a note indicating that they resettled to the Volga German colony of Cäsarsfeld.
The 1767 census records that Karl Jensen came from the German village of Schwerin in the Mecklenburg region.
