Friedrich Kunz, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, son Johannes (age 1), and stepdaughters (Barbara Deis, age 9; Katharina Deis, age 5) settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 10 June 1766.
They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 35. The 1767 census records that Friedrich Kunz came from Luxembourg.
