Johann Heinrich Lissberg, his wife Dorothea Elisabeth, and sons (Jakob, age 1; Johann Heinrich, age 3-weeks) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kratzke in Household No. 42. They had settled there on 8 May 1767.

The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Lissberg came from the German village of Oberappenfeld in the Hessen-Kassel region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
