Anton Luea, a miller, and his wife Ottilia arrived from L├╝beck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

They are recorded on the 1798 census of Zug in Household No. Zg28.

The 1767 census records that Anton Luea came from the German region of Lothringen.
