Christian Müller, a butcher (Fleischer), his wife Katharina, and daughter Margaretha (age 1 month) are recorded on the 1767 census of Dinkel in Household No. 50. They had settled there on 27 July 1767.
The 1767 census records that Christian Müller came from the German village of Dessau in the Anhalt region.
