Joseph Naturelle was born in approximately 1779. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians and resettled in the Volga German colony of Hildmann. He appears on the 1834 Hildmann Census in Household No. 68 where his death is indicated but a date is not recorded.
There are no known surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.
