Widower Peter Otto, a farmer, arrived in the Volga German colony of Nieder-Monjou on 3 August 1767 where he is recorded on supplemental list to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 117 along with a note that he moved to the colony of Kaneau in 1768.
The 1767 census records that Peter Otto came from the region of Brandenburg.
