Gottfried Pauly [sic] (age 17) is recorded on the 1767 census of Ober-Monjou in Household No. 83 along with his sister Anna and brother-in-law Karl Sommer and a note that they all relocated to the colony of Katharinenstadt in 1768.

Gottfried Paul and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka004.

The death of Gottfried Paul in 1818 is recorded on the 1834 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 4.

The 1767 census does not record from where Gottfried Paul came.
