He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 116 along with his new wife Elisabeth, their 6-month-old son Gottfried, and his stepdaughter Elisabeth (age 6) [surname not recorded].

The 1767 census records that Johann Christian Reinhardt came from the German village of Wiege [?].
