Andreas [Friedrich] Sahlmeier, a single farmer, arrived from Rewal on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.

He married Maria Margaretha, the widow of Heinrich Schmidt. They settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 2.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Andreas Sahlmeier came from the German region of Ansbach. The 1767 census records that he came form the German village of Kummerhausen in the Nürnberg region.
