Johann[es] Schneider, farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 Jul 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Hussenbach. The 1798 census of Hussenbach records Johannes Schneider and his family in Household No. Hs063.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Schneider came from the German region of Laubach.
