Discussion & Documentation:

Konrad Schneider, a farmer, immigrated first to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1760.

He then joined the migration to Russia, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Moor on 1 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 5.

The 1767 census records that Konrad Schneider came from the German Kurpfalz area. The Eichhorn research pf records in Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) note that Conrad Schneider came from the Kellerei Waldeck, Oberamt Heidelberg, Kurpfalz.
