Bartolomeus Weizenbach, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Heinrich Sager.

Their daughter, Margaretha (age 13), settled in the Volga German colony of Semenovka on 24 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 23 along with the Michael Flanz family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Seizenbach and Flanz families.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that this Weizenbach family came from the German region of Franken (Franconia).
