Orphan August Windemann is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 71 along with the Heinrich Oper family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Windemann and Oper families. A note on the 1767 census records that August Windemann relocated to the colony of Cäsarsfeld in 1768.
