History:
Colonía San Antonio, 15 km north of General Pinedo, was founded in 1921 when the Gassmann, Drehr, Wassinger, Schermer, Sommer, and Rohr families (among others) arrived from Santa Anita. They were joined by the Spahn family from Brasilera in the 1930s.
