History:
Zvonarev Kut was founded in 1905 by Volga Germans resettling from Stahl am Karaman. It was given the Russian name that was used for Stahl am Karaman: Zvonarev Kut.
In 1909, a Lutheran parochial school was opened in the village.
By 1913, there were 3 windmills operating in the village. Most of the houses were built of adobe. In 1916, a mechanical roller mill began to operate.
In 1941, many Volga German families being deported from the Volga Region were resettled in Zvonarev Kut.
