Katharina Beier, a single woman, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper John Scott along with a number of families who settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar.
She has not been identified on the 1767 census, but is recorded on the 1798 census of Krasnoyar in Household No. Ks067 as the wife of Mattias Feller.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Katharina Beier came from the German region of Laubach.
There are no known surving male lines of this Beyer family among the Volga German colonies.
