Georg Bromme, a farmer, arrived from L├╝beck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the Danish galliot Engel Rafael.

He settled in the Volga German colony of Messer. He is recorded on the 1798 census of Franzosen in Household No. Fz42 along with a note that he is from the colony of Messer.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Bromme is from the German region of Schwaben (Swabia).
