Johann Eberhard Vorschauer, son of Johann Henrich Vorschauer & Anna Elisabeth Bamberger, was born 7 March 1735 in Aßlar and baptized there on 13 March 1735. He married in Friedberg on 17 May 1766 to Maria Sophia Flick, daughter of Johann Engelhard Flick & Catharina Elisabethe Hebel. Maria Sophia had been born 29 December 1741 also in Aßlar and baptized there on 5 January 1742.

Eberhard and his wife Sophia arrived in Oranienbaum 8 August 1766 from Lübeck aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Wiebe Heinrichson.

They arrived in Kukkus on 26 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 47.

Descendants of this family do not appear to continue among the Volga German colonies.
