There are two Götz families in the Volga German colony of Wittmann. Their relationship, if any, needs further research.
(1) Widow Gertrude Götz, her daughter, and her daughter's family are recorded on the 1798 census of Wittmann in Household No. Wm43.
(2) Johann Götz and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Wittmann in Household No. Wm21.
