Johann Georg Grünmeier, a farmer, and his wife Anna Martha settled in the Volga German colony of Bauer on 1 March 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 49.
The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Grünmeier came from the German village of Neulußheim in the Württemberg region.
