Heinrich Klein, a farmer, his wife Agnessa, and children (Anna Elisabeth, age 13; Maria Katharina, age 10; Heinrich, age 9) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kaneau in Household No. 82. They had settled there on 3 August 1767.
The 1767 census records that Heinrich Klein came from the German village of Wiederwellstadt [Nieder-Wöllstadt?] in the Riedesel region.
