Johann Lüter [sic], a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Katharina, age 18½; Johann [Justus], age 17½; Maria, age 15, and Anna, age 9) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Huck where Justus Luther is recorded on the 1798 census in Household No. Hk76.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Lüter came from the German region of Isenburg.
