Michael Leopold, a baker (Bäcker), his wife Anna Maria, and children (Katharina Elisabeth, age 17; Maria Barbara, age 14; Maria Katharina, age 8) settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 6 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26 along with newborn son Robertus (age 1).
The 1767 census records that Michael Leopold came from the German village of Kirchheimbolanden.
