Georg [sic] Christian Ludowig [sic] & Anna Eleonora Dietrich were married on 9 June 1766 in the cobbler's house in Lübeck.

Johann [sic] Christian Ludwig, a baker (Bäcker), and his wife Anna Eleonora settled in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt on 23 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17.

The 1767 census records that Johann Christian Ludwig came from the German village of Gera in the Thüringen region.
