Johannes Molidor, a farmer, and his wife Julianna settled in the Volga German colony of Leichtling on 14 May 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 6.

In 1852, Michael Molidor and his family moved from Leichtling to Marienfeld.

Michael Mollentor [sic] from Leichtling and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Marienfeld.

The 1767 census records that Johannes Molidor came from the German region of Saarbrücken.
