Pletschinger*
Hans Georg Pletschinger, a blacksmith (Schmied), and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 June 1766 aboard the ship Die Vergelte Weintraube under the command of Skipper Anderson.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Keller on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 40.
Georg Pletschinger is recorded on the 1798 census of Neu-Kolonie in Household No. Nk18.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Hans Georg Pletschinger came from the German region of Ellwangen. The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Pletschinger came from the German village of Oberhofen in the Mainz region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
