Johann Konrad Podt, a farmer, and his wife Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya on 7 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 43.
The 1767 census records that Johann Konrad Podt came from the German village of Berghausen.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
