Joachim Schulz, his wife Anna Maria, and their sons (Johann, age 6; Johann Joachim, age 3½) are recorded on an appendix to the 1775 census of the Volga German colony of Schilling in Household No. 15.

In 1794, Joachim Schulz moved from Schilling to Beideck.
